If something is broken, or a beer recommendation looks wrong, or you want a feature added, we want to know. There is one of us, the reply might take a day, but every email is read by a human.

Frequently asked

Why does the recommender keep suggesting a beer I cannot buy?

The picks lean on the brewery's location and a small list of national distributors. If you are in a state we have not seen before, we widen the net. Tell us where you are stuck and we will tighten the list.

I rated a beer by mistake. Can I undo it?

Yes. Open the beer in your library, tap the rating, and pick "Pass" or "Save for later" instead. The recommender re-trains within a few minutes.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Go to your profile and tap "Delete account". Everything we have on you, ratings, scans, photos, profile, is removed within 24 hours. Email hello@doilikethisipa.com if you would rather we do it.

The scan got the wrong beer.

Tap "Wrong beer?" on the result card and pick the right one, or paste the brewery's URL. Every correction trains the next scan.

Can I use this without making an account?

You can browse public beer pages, but rating, saving, and personalized picks need an account so we have a place to store your taste profile.

How do I get the app?

On iPhone and iPad, search "doilikethisipa" in the App Store. On any other device, open doilikethisipa.com in your browser, it works as a full web app, no download needed.
